Toots Sweet is an Edinburgh based Cake Designer. Baking cakes from scratch recipes using the best quality and locally sourced ingredients where possible.
I have been making cakes for 7 years and finally have changed my dream of making cakes full time into a reality. In 2014 I won a Trades House Craftex group award for my end of year Fairy Cake and together with Alison Hamilton from Big White Cake took the bread award at Craftex in the same year. In 2015 together again with Alison we won Silver in City of Glasgow College Embracing Diversity competition and for the second year in a row won the group at Craftex 2015 and the coveted Deacon Conveners Design Award for Bread. On the 30th of October, I entered the first competition with an official Toots Sweet cake and came 2nd in the profetional category at the Edinburgh Cake and Bake show.
Catering for Edinburgh and beyond for weddings and birthdays, I can also be found at craft fairs with bakes and gifts in the area throughout the year. Check out Events page for more coming soon.
